The 4 Step Process Of Learning To Drive
1. Apply for your provisional driving license
Before you can start learning to drive, you must first apply for your provisional driving license. To apply you must:
- Be at least 17 years old.
- Be able to read a number plate from 20 metres away.
- Have been given permission to live in Great Britain (England, Scotland, and Wales) for at least 185 days.

However, it is important that as a learner driver you do your own preparation for the theory test, the test can be difficult but with the right tuition and learning materials, you can pass your theory test.
